Gummies are the fastest-growing delivery system for oral dosage drugs. They increase compliance among several populations and can help companies extend their brand. However, the challenges of manufacturing gummies are significant: not all APIs are suitable, dosage consistency can be tricky, and taste masking some especially bitter APIs can be challenging.
